Perfect ski trip in Mammoth. Two nights, three days is plenty. This trip was very cost effective with 12 people in the condo and having stayed in one evening for a nice home-cooked meal.
TIPS: If you have more time, visit The Village resort and the new Village Gondola at Mammoth mountain. The new gondola was built by Doppelmayr/CTEC and opened in November of 2003. The 15 passenger cabins link the new Village to Canyon Lodge and the rest of the ski slopes. You can enjoy the gondola ride without purchasing a lift ticket.
