Last time I checked (which was probably around 2004), this was THE pool hall to go to in San Francisco for competitive play, local and USPPA tournaments, as well as money games.
The pool hall itself is very crowded with individual table space held to a minimum. I would guess around 20-25 pool tables reside here along with a full bar (I do not know if there is a kitched). The tables in the back are normally give out to casual players and groups of friends… the tables in the front are normally where the action is.

It was well known to local players that the first three tables are the best up-kept and tend to have the newest felt. Be warned that these first three tables are known to run faster and have slightly tighter pockets than the rest of the parlor.
