The San Francisco cable cars are one of the most popular and favorite traditions for tourists. Back in the day, the cable car used to act like a bus, with riders hopping on and off, sometimes while even in motion! Regardless, it is a very convenient and fun way to get around to many of the main tourist attractions in San Francisco.
