Coit Tower
The panoramic views at the Coit Tower are some of the best in the Bay Area, with sites of both the Golden Gate and the Bay Bridge, as well as the San Francisco skyline, the East Bay and Marin Headlands. The tower was originally constructed in 1932 atop Telegraph Hill, and named after Lilly Hitchcock Coit, a particular individual whom took great interest in the San Francisco Fire Department.
