Wuksachi Lodge
Built in 1999 to replace cabins/motels encroaching on the sequoias in the Giant Forest area, this is the only lodge inside the boundaries of Sequoia National Park. A basic hotel with unbeatable scenery – a good place to stay after a long day of hiking. They have a hot breakfast buffet for $10/person, although we passed (we brought our own).

Cost: 221 USD per person
Tips:
Though somewhat pricey, we were glad we stayed (were able to get a room!) here rather than any of the motels in the outlying Three Rivers area (between a half to one hour drive up a windy, windy road to the center of Sequoia NP) or Visalia (forget about it – it may say 35 miles, but it will be a 1.5 hour drive). Another good option, though, would be to snag a campsite in the NP, on a first come first serve basis – a near impossibility on the fourth of July weekend.
