Petco Park
When the Padres are in town, there is no nicer way to spend a Sunday afternoon (other than napping, of course :). Petco Park is one of the newest ballparks in MLB. Although the architects bucked the trend towards old school style stadiums (i.e. Edison Field, Pac Bell/SBC/AT&T Ballpark) by building this concrete monolith – to their detriment – the ballpark is nevertheless filled with things to do and see. Although there is better food elsewhere in the Major League, stay till the ninth and watch closer Trevor Hoffman, future Hall of Famer, in action.

One of the downside to this ballpark is that there are a number of obstructed seats. Ask before buying tickets, if possible.
