Lincoln Memorial/Mall
End the day by the Reflecting Pool and Lincoln Memorial. This memorial is the most filmed in Washington, DC, appearing in dozens of movies. It is often portrayed in a somber and reflective tone where characters like Jimmy Stewart’s Jefferson Smith go to be inspired by the American Spirit.

If you are in D.C., this is a must see. The most interesting thing is how the reflecting pool in the mall actually reflects the National Monument. A no-brainer once you consider the name “reflecting pool.”
