The flavors can be summed up in a single word: bold. The menu offers selections under the headings “Eat Light” and “Eat Hearty.” Flavors are all over the map: everything from a Tuscan-inspired risotto to fusion-style rock-shrimp spring rolls. The “house” burger consists of ground chuck, caramelized onions, avocados, roasted poblano and bell peppers, fresh salsa and jack cheese on a kaiser roll. A cornmeal-crusted oyster club sandwich also scored high marks. The kitchen also works well with local seafood, including Penn Cove mussels in a coconut/red curry broth and chipotle-rubbed salmon steak served atop a succulent mound of mashers.
