Cline Cellars
With three vineyards, an 1850’s farm house for winetasting and a list of activities, you can’t help being overwhelmed. Events are also held year-round, such as the Cline Jazz Festival and the Winter Winemaker Dinner.
This was a pretty cool winery, with a quaint little shop. The people working there were nice, and seemed to genuinely enjoy both what they were doing, as well as having you there. They’re whites were OK, but the thing that jumped out at me was that most of their reds had black pepper added. It was definitely noticeable… almost too noticeable. If you like a peppery red this is the place for you. Just as a side note, not all of their reds are peppery. I liked their 2003 Ancient Vines Mourvedre enough to buy a bottle!!
