Konstmuséet (GBG Art Museum) & Hasselblad Center
Gothenburg art museum and Hasselblad center is located at Götaplatsen at the very end of Kungsports Avenyn.
The art museum focuses on Swedish and Nordic art but you also find paintings of internationally well known artist like Picasso, Degas and Renoir to name a few.
Hasselblad Center is one of the most eminent photographic forums in Sweden emphasising contemporary photography. With one ticket you can visit both centers as they are located in the same building.

It’s located at the top of Gothenburg’s biggest street. The Avenue. When you hit the Avenue by tram or by walking, just keep on walking upwards until it ends. You will be looking at the stairs to the entrance.
Tips:
For photo enthusiasts like me, the Hasselblad Center is almost even more fun than the actual museum. Make sure to have enough time to look through the photos after you’ve gone through the art parts.
