The most ancient monument in Shanghai, the Longhua Pagoda is located in Longhua Park, an anchient temple grounds that is filled with the auroma of peach blossoms. During New Year’s a traditional bell-striking ceremony takes place, and during April thousands of people come from near and far to pay a visit to the large fair grounds where rows of vendors line up selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts, souvineers, trinkets and great food.
