Torres KIO
Definitely a site to be seen, these two leaning skyscrapers are each 27-stories tall and made of granite, glass and metal. Although these buildings are not open to the public, they are still one of the most dramatic buildings on any European skyline. They are observed from the North side of Madrid, the architect is Philip Johnson and commissioned by the banking group Caja Madrid in 1996. The towers’ official name is Puerta de Europa (Gateway to Europe), but they are largely known as the KIO Towers after the business that resides inside.
