Monterey Bay Aquarium

great place to spend a whole day. great exhibits including kelp forest, jellyfish exhibit, deep sea exhibit, coral reef exhibit as well as whatever show is in the auditorium. there’s a kiddie area for kids to learn about ,and touch pools where you can touch stingrays, baby sharks, starfish, etc.

General Directions:

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is located in Monterey at the west end of historic Cannery Row, just minutes from Carmel and Pebble Beach. Monterey is approximately 125 miles (208 km) south of San Francisco and 360 miles (600 km) north of Los Angeles.


Tips:

plan to spend a whole day… but definitely try to get the two days for the price of one ticket from your hotel (ask if they have it), gotta remember you have to pay cash for this deal.
