The Zocalo is an enormous concrete space signified with a giant flag. Check-out what used to be the Merchants’ arcade, but what is now a great shopping area on the west side, it has cafés and even a traditional hat shop! Be sure to go to the underground Zocalo station where you can see all sorts of native historical ruins.
